In order to feel sorrow and sadness for the death of a person, first I need to respect that person in life. I don't have to be a relative or close person to that person, but at least have some respect. In this world you either gain or lose the respect of people, and Charlie Kirk never earned my respect. he was a terrible person alive who did a lot of damage to the world.

Charlie Kirk spread misinformation, was an bigoted person, and advocated for violence. And I find it hypocritical for people to tell me to respect his death when he sowed the seeds of his own death by creating this environment we live in and that people complain about. yes, violence is bad and there should be better ways to solve problems but that doesn't redeem this piece of shit and he wasn't even an important person in life, he was just an insufferable asshole who lived from doing inflammatory speeches, and his only achievement in life was to give a platform to horrible people and to the current social division and benefit from that division.

I ask again: how do you want me to respect a horrible person who spent all his life spitting poison and benefiting from a divided society?

look, I'm not asking for more violence and harassment for the family, what I'm trying to saying is that we should not forget that this guy was a bad person who did pretty much harm to society and we shouldn't remember him fondly, we cannot "focus on the good" when there was no good to begin with, at best, we should remember him more as a lesson for what not to do in the future and avoid this type of person and fight their wrong doings with Information, basic reasoning and a bit of critical thinking, because that was Kirk's way to earn his life and lead to all the problems we are suffering right now. he died because of the environment he helped to create and feeling empathy for him feels wrong when you remember that he once said:

And if he didn't believe in basic empathy then why I should feel bad for him? Kirk was an asshole that exploited the believes of vulnerable people and the ignorance of a country to benefit personally and politically and no one will miss him, except... IDK 4Chan and Twitter and the rest of racist, transphobes/homophobes, xenophobes, and conspiracy nuts online and you shouldn't pay attention to the condolences the US and UK and other governments are doing to him. if people want to remember his life than dead (like a normal passing of a person) then let's remind people who really was Charlie Kirk in life and on top of that let's not forget the other issues going around, specially for what's happening internationally.
